Diamond casino penthose demo 2.1

Not my best month. My monitor broke, I waited a week for a new one to be brought. At the end of the month, I injured my finger and for several days I could not press anything at all, therefore the development was stopped again ... But I still managed to do something.

What failed to implement ?

- I didn't have time to build an office. There is only a door to it and that's it )

- I was unable to make a working mirror in the toilet. Again, there are problems on the side of the engine, the mirror stops working if another room is unloaded behind it (if this is turned off, the optimization will suffer), and the mirror itself also eats up a lot of resources, rendering everything twice.

- I was unable to realize the glow on the steps and under the sofas in the room with the cinema. (at least to make it look minded).

For Garry's Mod Users

- Use r_radiosity 4 to illuminate some door models correctly. More details here.  

- I tried to work on optimization. If it's not difficult for you, check how many fps you have on the map.  To display fps, enter net_graph 1 into the console. It is desirable to disable vertical sync. To disable, enter net_graph 0. Personally, I have (with a violent restriction) stable 120 frames everywhere on the map.

- Some walls still use $color textures I will fix this later. (they lose color if illuminated with a flashlight or lamp)

Known issues (for sfm version)

- Many small objects such as bottles and various glasses are not displayed, this is an sfm assembly problem. I wrote about this earlier.

This demo is updated in December.

I will try to quickly complete the office and update this file. Patreon will need to notify you of this.
