In general, I really do not have time to do anything, it takes a lot of time to create various "crutches" to create various effects, rounded walls, and so on. All of this should also work in SFM, which further complicates development.
So that no one is left offended, I lay out the finished part of the map, this is an area with a bar and spa. Nothing else is ready yet. I have tried for a very long time to implement rounded walls without lighting artifacts.
Plans for the near future are to continue building the penthouse, perhaps $1+ users get another part of the location. The final version will only be for $5+.
Known issues (for gmod version)
- If you illuminate some walls with a flashlight or directional light, the color of the walls disappears and they turn white. This is a problem with the current build of gmod. The developer has been notified of this bug. If it is not fixed, I will have to make a bunch of extra textures in the final version, which will be painted immediately, and not through $color2.
- Strange loading when entering the spa area. This happens only 1 time, I have no idea why.
- Doors can be painted in inappropriate colors. This is also a problem with the gmod build. This can be fixed by entering r_radiosity 2 into the console (place r_radiosity 3)
Known issues (for sfm version)
- Many small objects such as bottles and various glasses are not displayed, this is an sfm assembly problem. I wrote about this earlier.
