Hello all. This Patreon has been grievously neglected, and I thank you all for sticking it out with me... I will be resuming updates here so that you can all get a view into everything I've been up to. There's a LOT to catch up on, hopefully I won't miss anything.

THE CURSED TAPES

I will be setting a hard cutoff for myself to finish my tape footage by the end of next month, at which point I'll begin shipping.

Why are you taking so damn long?

Completely fair question. Frankly I have a terrible way of getting big ideas that become more grandiose with time... the longer people wait, the more pressure I feel to deliver something worth the giga delay. I seriously apologize for everyone who has had to endure waiting for so long, and want to finally make things right.

I've been looking hard into various audio and visual phenomenon, and think you will be surprised by the bizarre experience this tape will provide. I'm wary of spoiling it too much, but I'll end by saying I have a weakness for mysticism and love the movie Videodrome.

💀 A special Blonde💀

For several months now, I've been working on transcribing, reading, and animating a story Josh wrote back in his Job Corps days, dubbed "A Special Blonde." The transcription has been done for awhile now (it was only available as a terrible audio recording from Josh), but as you can imagine there were a ton of segments that were nigh impossible to understand. I'll be honest, it was painstaking to go through it all.

I've been reading segments of it and doing animations for each bit; I want it to sort of resemble Internet Historian's "My Immortal" reading but I'm making use of a lot more tech to spruce up the visuals. There's a certain weird effect I've been obsessed with used in "Cobra's Inner Monologue" where 2D images can react to changes in lighting, it will incorporate that in just about every sequence.

The protagonist is "Lizzie," a blonde cheerleader who is 1000% meant to be based on Alicia, a girl that Josh has been utterly obsessed with in real life ever since he saw her in a green bikini for some Casper beauty pageant. Lizzie is a chain smoker, hates her mom, and loves Monster energy drinks.

The protagonist's mom, "Joanna," is basically Clint with boobs. She even made a fortune from the insurance claims she made on her dead husbands. Lizzie beats the ever-loving dogshit out of Joanna by the end the story, which somehow gives her both amnesia and a new sense of clarity when realizing she has been a hypocritical parent.

The love interest ("Antonio") is some Fabio-spawn abomination that I'm guessing Josh wishes he was. There is a LOT of attention given to his muscles, bulge, etc, oftentimes more painstakingly detailed than the actual female characters.

Antonio seeks to essentially cuckhold the protagonist's boyfriend "Scotty" by stealing her away from him. Scotty is a popular football player because of course he is.

The story is seriously insufferable when read by Josh due to the audio quality, Josh constantly making asides, and struggling to interpret his own handwriting. However it is an amazing view into what Josh thinks is attractive, his homophobia (contrasted with suspicious descriptions of Antonio's giant dong and "cherry red speedo"), and what Josh's ultimate power fantasy would be like.

💀 NAKED AND LAUGHING EPISODE💀

I recorded a podcast with Ballparkfranks about NAL's first week. Fortunately there is still plenty of analysis that holds up despite everything that's happened since then, as well as some insanely funny segments that are simply too good to scrap. Regrettably NAL has a particular way of showing up when I am least able to create content, and I truly curse not being able to make more vids/livestream lately.

I am planning on finally being able to do a stream this upcoming weekend however, and have a lot of great stuff in the chamber. I've been keeping a close eye on everything happening and have a LOT to say on this new saga. We'll of course talk about the eviction, too. Hehehehe

💀 MORE PODCASTS 💀

There are even more podcasts scheduled beyond the latest NAL one that was recorded. I may be moving at a glacial pace (working to correct) but I have high confidence that every new episode will continue to exceed expectations. It might be hubris, but I personally think that they're getting better and better.

💀 Extra miscellaneous side projects... 💀

"RAVETAPE"
I have been collecting the results of some beta AI video requests from a discord server, where the AI is absolutely refusing to do what's asked. I take these bizarre clips, upscale them, and then smash them together in about 4 different video layers to make fake "rave tape vids." Example here. I'm really pleased with being able to get the 3D skull to take on the reflections of the vids.

Cyraxx render
I wanted to see how effectively I could make a 3D Cyraxx... fortunately my software has a ton of labor saving tools, so this didn't take long.

SPRITES

I've been messing with new ways to make 2D sprites, I've uploaded 'em here as attachments.

3D Printing

I am super stoked to be able to 3D print my own renders. I have some pictures of my Jord moon uploaded here, in addition to a render that is NOT mine but I intend to combine with my own 3D sculpture to make a Josh "Pot of Greed."

I will continue to update you guys here on a more regular basis, especially regarding the status of the tapes. There is a lot of seriously cool stuff in the pipe, regrettably it just needs a little bit more time. I'm working hard on just being faster overall when making content... I can say I've at least eliminated some time wasters and distractions. BLESSINGS
