2025-02-17 21:13:32 +0000 UTCChecklist for everyone, who wants to try some korean instant ramen now, but is overwhelmed by the big shelf in the asian market and doesn't know where to start: [ ] Bibim-myeon (sometimes written as "Bibimmen")- spicy summer favourite look for: packaging with blue background, white letters, brand: paldo how to eat: after cooking the noodles drain water, cool the noodles and mix in the red sauce. Top with some julienne cucumber and sesame seeds. [ ] Neoguri - seafood flavor classic look for: the racoon/red panda mascot, yellow/orange(mild) or red(spicy aka angry version) background, black letters, brand: Nongshim how to eat: mix in soup powder and dried vegetables flakes with/before the noodles, eat as hot noodle soup [ ] Jjajang-myeon - black bean noodles (Peachys guess was right, the dark sauce you see the boys eat often is indeed a variant from the Chinese black bean sauce) there are multiple brand/versions that use black bean sauce, I haven't found a bad one yet, but the most popular one is "Chapagetti" look for: golden-ish background, picture of dark sauced up noodles, brand: Nongshim how to eat: cook noodles and dried vegetables, drain water, mix in the black bean sauce, eat hot [ ] Jjapaguri or Chapaguri is a combination of Chapagetti and Neoguri. It has been popular since 2013. There are recipes online on the perfect mix ratio of the two or just buy the premade singular Chapaguri package that exists nowadays. [ ] Shin Ramen - the No.1 popular look for: red background, black letters, brand: Nongshim [ ] Jin Ramen - Name by coincidence, but of course they did do an ad campaign with our Jin. look for: bright yellow background, dark blue letters (mild) or red letters (spicy), brand: ottogi For both I like to add whatever veggies I have in my fridge, maybe an egg or some cheese. Jin Ramen is milder. Shin Ramen if you want more fiery spice. They are soup-ramen, so cook like neoguri

If you see lives from JK's promotions in Korea for 'seven' and 'standing next to you' you'll notice that he covers them up

It's probably the one main reasons also Jimin has his tattoos placed where they are too🤷♂️💜

I was a little wierd-ed out that they were using another artist's artwork though, Juheeyu, their art is super cute and easy to recognize. And actually, one time while she was drawing the animation for JK's Seven video on a live stream, JK stopped by the live and actually commented on it. So glad when I see talented army get their moment.

Jhope went with Louis Vuitton, Jimin went with Dior and Tiffany&Co., V went with Celine, RM to Bottega Veneta, Suga to Valentino.... and then Jin did Jin Ramen LOL. It was such a 'omg, duh.' moment. Of course Jin would accept a partnership with a ramen brand that has his name on it. Since coming back from the military though he's also partnered up with Laneige (skincare) and Gucci. I DO believe that BTS as a group had a Buldak ramen partnership at some point though, because for the PTD concerts in Vegas, there was a booth for Buldak ramen. Either that, or it was just with Hybe/BigHit
