Peachy you should really watch the other Run Jin episodes! they are so good

Like, "Jinin-ie" and "Jimin-ah", "Tani" and "Tana". We don't have that kinda rule in Japanese, so this topic is very popular, one of the first step for the Hangul learner as well as y'll!!

Just to add to this, when it's "hob" (ํ) by itself with no particle or honorific, it does sound like "hope" in English because of how final consonants are pronounced/aspirated. However when you add the "ah" to the end, sound change rules apply (the final B consonant shifts over to the ah syllable) and it would sound more like "ho-bah" (ํธ๋ฐ). It's the same reason the endearment "hope-ie" (ํ์ด) became more commonly spelled as "hobi" (ํธ๋น)

When there is someone that you are close to who is younger than you, itโs common to add โaโ after their name. This is where Hoba or Hob-ah comes from. Similar to this, in Korean, there are little syllables or word particles that you include on the subject noun of a sentence. When you say, โHope went to the storeโ it would be like โHob-i went to the store.โ This is where the nickname Hobi comes from. Non-Korean speakers would hear BTS call him Hobi and it just stuck. This is also is what happening when you hear them saying Jungkookie. Itโs not BTS being cute with the maknae. It is literally just grammatically correct speech.

Obviously they might share resources whether it be choreographers or producer for efficiencies. As a business example. Alphabet is the umbrella organization that has both Google & YouTube. Another, Meta is the umbrella organization that has Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Big hit music is now the company that runs bts and txt and solo artis Lee hyun. They are also part of hybe but they operate little different that the other companies hype owns. The are more protected and have more independence from hybeโs investors
