I'm so sorry there wasn't an upload yesterday - ya girl was having a bad brain day that I ultimately couldn't push through but I am all good now and ready to watch SO much BTS stuff with you!
This reaction was inspired by an amazing P.O box package that was sent to me by Sue ( keep an eye out for a PO unboxing video coming next week)!! Sue included this single - left and right so of course I had to go and watch the MV with Charlie Puth and Jungkook!
I will say, I am not the biggest fan of Mr. Puth, not having anything to do with his talent because that man has a lot of talent for SURE, so I was a little uneasy about this collab but I am still very happy I listened to this song and watched the MV because it was SO cute!
I love any opportunity to see Jungkook in his GROVELLING era, confused and stressing over the person he loves (obviously me). It was also really cool to find out that these two BOTH have perfect pitch which is why their voices melt together so beautifully and created such a great song!
I really loved this collab overall and I'm thankful to have had the push to watch this mv!

I honestly didn’t like Charlie Puth that much (as a person bc I do like him as an artist) for things I’ve heard too but they are not that bad compared to many other artists. Anyway, since Left & Right I appreciate him more since he has always been so sweet to JK despite de language barrier. He loves that man so much that armys started joking he’s in love with Jungkook just like us lmao bc he still talks about the collab and how sweet he is and how they communicated 😂 but yeah I like how highly Charlie Puth speaks about Jungkook as an artists as well like his perfect pitch and his way of interpreting emotions through his voice! 💜 Jungkook looks SO fine in this MV with those fit, that hairstyle and I love how random the video is lol

JK was a big fan even before that and I believe that's how the collab performance came about. It’s a well known fact that Taeyang is Jimin’s biggest inspiration so this was big when it was announced that Jimin would be collaborating with his idol. It was also Jimin’s first solo collab outside of BTS (minus the kdrama ost he sang with Ha Sungwoon, his bestie)

I think there are around 7 videos, they are all short, so I think it would be possible to watch them in just one video! And to contextualize a little, the first GCF was recorded in 2017, it was the GCF in Tokyo, Jungkook gave Jimin a trip to Tokyo as a birthday present, so it was a trip just for the two of them where Jungkook recorded moments of them together and edited everything and released it on YouTube, it was something so out of the blue that not even Jimin knew they would post the videos. Most of the GCF's show the BTS boys on trips, tours, and moments together, all made by Jungkook, I would like to say that it is a way of seeing BTS through Jungkook's eyes!
