I truly thought that I had heard all the bangers from FACE but I was WRONG and I’m glad that I was!
The way this album tells such a beautiful and meaningful story will have me trying to wrap my head around it for a long time. I loved how every song flowed into each other and that Jimin gave us such a raw and real look into his life and past struggles.
It blows my mind that this was his first ever solo album because it is truly just a masterpiece. 💜😭
I can’t wait to hear more from him when we react to Muse!
Which Jimin solo song is your favourite? I love Letter, Like Crazy, Alone and Who! I simply cannot choose one LOL

He also expressed at some point that the songs are in this order because Set Me Free did set him free so he is better now. He still drinks. He also said that when his dad heard this album he cried. It wasn’t just about the alcohol, it was the underlying depression that he dealt with. You should watch the Minimoni reactions of both their albums. Also, he explained a bit on Suchwita that you saw.

If you want to watch for movie night sometime it’s super interesting!

I love Like Crazy’s message so much bc on the surface you would think it’s a fun lit club song. And that’s exactly the intent of it. The Jimin in Like Crazy is using drinking and partying as a front to trick himself and the listener that he’s having a good time. If the listener dug deeper and payed attention, either to the lyrics or even to the way he sings the last part of the song, they would realize there’s an underlying tone of sadness and desperation. Like Crazy Jimin dug deeper and realized at the end of the day, he is broken and alone, and that is the reality he never wants to confront… until he “wakes up” in the next song Alone. Like Crazy is the epitome of escapism, and I feel a lot of people can resonate with that. The story-telling of this album is just immaculate. If you listen to the whole album through without stopping, you’ll hear that Jimin has sounds and instrumentals that seamlessly transition and thread through each of the tracks. Pay attention to the intro and outro of each track, it’s kinda genius. It’s not only the story that connects, but the music itself too. For his debut album, Jimin really outdid himself. He told his story in a very concise and meaningful way. He bared his heart and soul to the world when he didn’t need to. That’s the beauty of Park Jimin.

I'm at 34:30 and thank you for recognizing this part, most reactions I watched did not. This part always hurts my heart, I didn't even thought about it, but your point is very good. I don't have problems with alcohol but this can be interpreted in many ways. Sometimes it is comfortable even if you stay in s***! Thank you for your inputs and sharings 💜

Jimin was learning to play guitar around the time of its recording, and when he was writing Letter he made a demo track where he played the guitar part. And then pdogg used Jimin's guitar tracks in the final version of the song, so he's a credited guitarist on there. Even more fun fact, at some point Jimin must have taught that little guitar riff to JK, because on one of his livestreams, JK pulled out a guitar and played it for us. But the funny thing was, FACE hadn't been released yet, so none of us knew what song he was playing. it was technically a spoiler. 😅

His words make me cry, you cant understand till you see, that was the moment that it was the final moment from me that prove to me that I will always love Jimin till the end.

Jimin got all shy, it was cute. It is a super intense song though. like damn.

One of the best things I love with BTS albums is the story that they tell when you go thru an album from top to bottom, it just gets me every time 💜

I was very much struggling, and could relate to Jimin so much, drinking and smoking each day away that I wasn't working to avoid feeling. And now, a year and a half later, I debate whether these vices have a grip on me in the aftermath. I don't feel as desolate as I had, but I now have a habit I have a hard time parting with. Hearing and listening to his words today have reminded me that I need to set myself free from this and understand that it was okay, and will be okay. Thanks Peachy for helping me revisit this album

(all bts solos were insane tho) So I am excited to see what you thought of this album, to this day I still listen to this album in full <3 no skips for me
