DAMN is all I have to say! This video was very trippy but also everything I ever wanted to see V in and MORE. His and IU’s acting was so captivating and impressive, I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen. The romance scenes were tough to watch at times as a certified delulu baby army but they were so beautiful, I just had to commit to watching.
All in all, I was thoroughly impressed by IU’s vocals, the incredible cinematics of this music video and the wonderful acting and chemistry IU and V shared together. 😊
Watching this got me so much more amped for Winter Ahead! How about you?!

This KDrama is 20 episodes long and V only has a smallish supporting character role but there are still lots of reasons to watch it. 1. Just like how BTS opened me up to non English speaking music, KDramas have given me a very pleasing alternative to Hollywood 2. The two male leads of Hwarang- Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Shik are in V’s best friend outside of BTS group - this group of 5 guys are called the Wooga Squad. The 5 are V, these 2 from Hwarang, another well known actor Choi Woo Shik and lastly a rapper called Peakboy. The Wooga Squad began with Hwarang. There’s lots of great Wooga Squad content - they did a In the Soop - Friendcation series. And V was in a reality tv show series called Jinny’s Kitchen where he and 2 Wooga Squad mates work in a Korean pop up restaurant in Mexico. All content I’m sure you would love! 3. Going back to Hwarang- I only started watching it for V. But about 30 minutes into the first episode I just realised V hadn’t appeared yet…I was totally engaged with the show. V’s buddies Park Seo Joon and Park Hyung Shik are both very talented actors. Captivating actually. After Hwarang I sought out other KDramas they starred in. Lots of great shows. 4. Watching KDramas really helped me better understand cultural aspects of BTS and the society which they live in.

IU always makes me feel all the emotions through her voice, I love the lyrics and this MV is like a movie. it made me so sad 😭 And actor Kim Taehyung??? Both did it amazing! They looked so happy and so cute together 😭💜 IU can't hear and one of Taehyung's eyes can't see. That square seems to extinguish those marginalized people, and that camcorder shows them in a world where they are not discriminated against. 😭 That's a theory but it's still so sad :( When she covered his good eye at the end was when the tears came out The pile of clothes immediately remind me of certain MV you haven't seen yet (I don't want to make spoilers) anyway it's meaning and thinking about what IU has gone through made me cry the first time I watched it This MV is truly one of the most beautiful and well done videos that I've ever watched for a long time. JHope, Suga and Taehyung have all been on Palette, and they not only chat with her but also sing live together—it’s so cool! (i dont know too much about IU but her fans often said that she must be very close friends with V because shes so relaxt and comfortable around him and laughs a lot!) When it comes to Suga and IU, you need to listen and watch the MV's to their songs Eight first and People Pt.2 . Eight is one of IU’s most popular tracks, produced by none other than Min Yoongi himself, and he’s also featured on it. Trust me, it’s such a great song and will give you the perfect context. Before watching Suchwita with IU, you should definitely check out Suga’s episode on Palette and listen to Eight. It makes their conversation on Suchwita hit even harder when you know more backstory! It’s such a fun and meaningful way to see their connection and how much they respect each other as artists.

2024-11-28 12:01:13 +0000 UTCyes i'm so glad you reacted to this! the song and music video is just so hauntingly beautiful! the ending is really heartbreaking and makes me cry so much. but i went to IU's concert this summer and she aired an alternative happy ending for the music video, which gave me a lot of comfort and happiness. also their acting in the video is so incredible! taehyung really needs to do more acting bc he's truly amazing. and IU is one of my favorite actresses. i recommend seeing her in "hotel del luna".
