With V’s Winter Ahead dropping VERY soon, I wanted to get our channels nice and cozy for its arrival! This whipped series feels like the perfect way to remind us that we might be obsessed with the members but not as obsessed as they are with each other. 😂
I love that all of the members share the experience of staring at V and just needing to shout out that he is extremely handsome. 😍I can’t blame them at all! I adore how much these boys ensure to build each other up and recognize the hard work that they all put into their work and appearances so that none of them feel unappreciated.
V is hella fine and hella talented - I strongly believe it is impossible to NOT be whipped for this man!

Uhm 🤨well, that’s what I wanted to warn… “term of endearment” is bit overreaching 😅 Don’t get me wrong, BTS is always affectionate towards each other! What I’m disagreeing is in Korean grammar- “ie“ is not an indicator of feeling or friendship. Koreans have this mentality of “us”. It always existed in our culture. We say 우리 ”our” instead of 내/나의 “my” as default on almost all things, and people call strangers auntie, uncle, teacher, hyung, noona, oppa, unnie, etc. It’s just our culture, which means “ie” is not limited to only your friends, lovers, and families.. It’s almost to anyone who crosses paths with us, used as a sign of informal talk. What I’m saying is- it’s better to think of “ie” as suffix for hierarchy. And fun fact, your name is Daphne, which has ee sound at the end, so there won’t be added -ie after your name, Daphne-yah or Daphne. There are so many exceptions and variations in why we used it.. that’s why I don’t want people to think only in terms of how BTS sounds to ARMY 🥲

There’s really no equivalent rule in English grammar, but you can think of it as an empty suffix for the name in a sentence. Also, it indicates that the person addressed is a friend or someone lower in (age) hierarchy, so they are only used in non honorific terms. I can see why ARMYs who are English speakers mistaken it as members’ nicknames 😊 it does sound cute to us too lol but sadly, it’s really not a nickname given 🥲 Anyway, thank you for the reaction!
