Out of the kindness of V's heart, he has gifted Army a teaser for a new song called 'Winter Ahead' ft. PARK HYO SHIN (who i also looked into and DAMN is an understatement).
This teaser was very eerie and super intriguing as well. It looks like V is going to be showing us more of his incredible creativity and artistic talent with this music video as well as a touch of maybe..romance?!
I'm looking forward to seeing what Taehyung is cooking up for us because he has never and could never let us down!
I'd love to know your thoughts on the teaser and what vibe you think V will be bringing to us with this song! ^^

2024-11-25 11:14:58 +0000 UTCI read Taes video is inspired by the Greek mythology "Pygmalion" a king of Cyprus who makes a female figure a reflection of his own self and his own creation of ivory that is brought to life for him by Aphrodite with a kiss. So its gonna be interesting. My initial theory was he might be a smidge deranged and thought his sculptures were real. It reminds me of a Thai show with my fave actor Nanon Korapat called 'Midnight Museum'. It was basically the same premise with his character. Just gave me the same vibes.

It is also said that in the music video V plays the role of Pygmalion. This is a character from Greek mythology. He was the king of Cyprus and a sculptor who carved his ideal woman, named Galatea, in ivory. The sculpture was made perfectly, and it could only be distinguished from a real woman by touch. Thanks to the goddess Aphrodite, the sculpture came to life during his caresses. Pygmalion married her.

2024-11-25 08:09:34 +0000 UTComg yay! i was hoping you'd react to the teaser! it was INSANE! it was nothing what i expected which kinda made it even better. it really felt like a movie. we still don't have any clues what the song will sound like but i just know its gonna be so incredible! also i just found out there's gonna be TWO versions of the music video! the first one drops on november 29. and the second one drops on november 30 and its described as the "cinematic still version". *feeling so spoiled*
