I mentioned in a video recently that I felt like Jin was extroverted and y'all humbled me real quick, LOL. I definitely see now that Jin is very bashful and shy but this video did not confirm that he isn't an extrovert if that makes sense!
I still really enjoyed this video and all of the cute Jin moments because.. it's JIN! I will watch anything that man is in LOL but I would love to see if I'm missing out on a real introverted side to him n.n

My favorite Jin shy-boi moment was him attending Hobi’s Jack in the Box release party, filled with the best of the Korean music industry, and he spent the entire time hiding in the corner reading a webtoon.

You're only seeing them through the lens of the editor, packaged and presented in a particular way. It creates incomplete ideas of them, like Jin being an extrovert, Tae being shy, JHope not being cuddly or Namjoon being annoyed by Vmin. I know the compilations can be funny, and honestly I think it's a rite of passage for baby ARMY. But keep in mind that you're not seeing the whole picture. Original content is always better. And there may not be compilations of Jin being an extrovert, because that's not as fun, and won't draw as big a response. There's a ton of content though, and it's too much to take in all at once. I think others recommended this as well, but they did a two-part special where they took the MBTI, and then discuss the results. It's endearing and hilarious, and you can hear from Jin why he is an introvert. 2024-09-26 17:33:42 +0000 UTCIntrovert line is Jin, JK, and Yoongi. Jin’s sense of humor masks how introverted he is sometimes, I think, and he’s very good at turning that on for the camera. And the boys are his family, so he’s really goofy with them. But he’s quite shy with other people and if given the opportunity to hang out with people (not BTS) or be alone, he chooses to be alone. He’s said on many occasions that he doesn’t have many friends and would prefer to spend all day gaming at home. Personally, I think Taehyung is also an introvert. He was really goofy and loud when he was younger, and he loves meeting people and talking to people, but these days he’s much more of a loner. Not in a bad way, he seems much more peaceful and happy. His “Tata mic” face, which he does quite often, has been called out by Jimin as something he often does when he’s feeling shy or nervous. I can think of a couple of videos (not compilations) that really show this, though. They would use it to address their older brother, an older male friend, older relative, etc... it's literally just the feminine version of hyung. For future references because you might hear these a lot in the future (Noona = younger males referring to older women Hyung = younger males referring to older men Unnie = younger girls referring to older women Oppa = younger girls referring to older men Sunbae/Sunbaenim = not necessary referring to somebody older than you but someone who has more experience than you in your career field) Also, Appa and Oppa are very close, but Appa is the one that means Dad. I hope I'm being helpful and not confusing lol

2024-09-26 15:57:23 +0000 UTCHyung is for a younger male addressing an older male (traditionally means older brother) Oppa is for a younger female to an older male (“older brother”) Noona is for a younger male to an older female (“older sister”) Unni is for a younger female to an older female (“older sister”) If someone was much older than you you’d call them aunt/uncle or grandmother/grandfather instead (like in Are You Sure Jimin complains that the kids in his music video were calling him uncle instead of oppa/hyung lol). Easy to get oppa (older brother) mixed up with appa (dad) 😅 Also Jin is totally an introvert!!! He absolutely hates big social events and he loves sitting at home by himself gaming lol.

2024-09-26 15:53:02 +0000 UTCjin is definitely introverted. i think its just that he appears to be more extroverted when he's with the members bc they make him so comfortable and happy. jungkook and yoongi are also introverted. as for tae being shy in front of a huge crowd, he's actually very confident on stage. but i think he still gets nervous sometimes.

He is very good at shifting when the camera is on because making other people laugh makes him happy, so you can always count on him to try lighten the mood. Also talking about his feelings, at least the darker ones, makes him uncomfortable and he prefers to no show that side of him. He as written songs about it though, Abyss for example.

Based on the videos and sound bites available in the last two or three years, I would say: [HUGE DISCLAIMER: While the tannies give us a lot of access, we don't know them personally, and we only see and hear what they choose to share about themselves. Take this with a grain of salt.] Jin: Shy introvert; complete homebody - has said he would not travel at all if he wasn't in BTS. His ideal day off involves playing video games all day--with an occasional break for food, if he must--but he also likes to meet up with his small circle of friends (especially if fishing, food, or tennis are involved). Yoongi: Somewhat outgoing introvert; a homebody, but also an undercover social butterfly - he knows everybody. Prefers small gatherings or one-on-one conversations (over drinks, of course). A lot of younger idols come to him for advice, and he mentors some of them. Namjoon: Outgoing ambivert; likes his quiet time, but goes out the most according to the other members (and his Instagram feed): art museums, concerts, bike rides, hanging out with friends, etc. And when he turns on the charm...whew! He used to be a loud extrovert, but has become a lot more quiet and reserved with age, spending more time (happily) on his own. He's still a charm monster when he wants to be, and makes friends everywhere he goes. Jungkook: Outgoing introvert; another homebody, but likes to bring the party to him. His spaces always look like an after-hours spot: low mood lighting, drinks, good food and good tunes. The guys said for years that he's the biggest flirt; while we got flashes of it onstage, he turned it all the way up when he did Instagram Q&A's a few years back and his late-night Weverse live marathons last year. Taehyung, Hobi, and Namjoon have switched back and forth between introverted and extroverted in the years they’ve been in the spotlight. I feel like pre-pandemic, Taehyung and Hobi were definitely extroverts but people change… Namjoon is also possibly an ambivert. Jimin seems to consistently be extroverted.
