Hello there. This week I have no new sexy pinup for you so I thought I'd give a progress report about the Lower Decks game.

So far I have made character dolls of those 3 above, with a few poses and a bunch of expressions. As soon as this was done I asked my coding-monkey-dude to put them in the game to see how they looked. Immediately some problems showed up. For example the program I was using to batch-scale them to 1080p was creating jagged lines and "artefacts" like color was bleeding through the outline, of course that was easy to fix (by changing the settings) but not easy to see on the picture itself if not in the game. Another thing is that the characters need to be bigger in order to be about knee high at the bottom of the screen and their head at about the horizon line of the background image. For example..

You can't just move them down as shown on the left. So yes, a bunch of visual things like that became apparent immediately but now it's easier to fix in the beginning.

This week I will continue working on putting the intro together and assets that will be needed there. Because so far, it was a bit vain drawing things that should be used later on but had no immediate use. Anyways, that's the plan.
