Long post (grab a coffee or beer)

Hello everyone, I'm back :)

I have quite a few things that will interest you, so sit comfortable and read on.

Well, I was never really away , but as explained in previous posts, it was rather impossible to get anything done during this past month. Its this 30-40 days crazy holidays period that this place gets  extremely  hot, crowded and noisy, and this happens every year. When it's over I feel drained, although this time I tried my best to not get it all go to waste. Spending most of the day outside, practicing form and anatomy with pencil on paper, was good and will come in handy, but also made me think a lot. 

What if, all this time, I had a truly "mobile" tablet I could draw on? Further analysis of my workflow, show that (for example) a 10hours pinup has 2 hours of sketching/posing/cleanup while the rest 8 hours is "rendering" (color/lighting/shading/effects). Only the first part does require some thinking and attention. The rendering part is really a no-brainer thanks to my experimentations earlier this year. It simply requires time. 

So, back to my question; could I draw on such a tablet and put these otherwise Idle times during a day to productive use? Hell YES. Maybe I would need to plug my ear-set with some loud music to cut-off the neighbors-from-hell, but it's doable and I would keep my sanity. So I looked into drawing tablets, in detail, and it seems that the only one that can cope with the heat too, is the Ipad pro. A new model is also coming out in a few months, so will check this one out as well.

So, I set myself a goal. Next summer (or earlier) to have one, so my work is uninterrupted. I want to fund it by doing commissions and here is one sweet deal for you guys. Patrons get a 20% off.  This will not slow down my work on the game, as I would do images weekly anyway. The game will take a while and I would go mad if I was only drawing for it specifically. All the commissioned images will be posted here, so you will not miss a thing.

Also (and here is more good news for you), because I do not always have the bestestz ideaz to draw, I decided to let you guys propose what you would like me to draw. Every week, say Tuesday, I will have a separate post where you guys can post your ideas. From these, I will pick some, have 'em rough sketched out and then we have a poll. The weeks winner image will get to be fully rendered and posted for your viewing pleasure :) I do hope this will make this place quite a bit more alive and keep everyone happy till a game preview is out.

Also, as you know, my drawings get posted (with a few months delay) on my website/blog , but doing single posts about each one simply takes up a lot of time, so I decided to have them posted on Gumroad instead (will provide link soon) where you can download them for free, or even donate what you wish (if so).
