1. Neat little graphic I made comparing Vesuvius and its magma reservoirs to a tornado and its parent supercell (the powerplants of their respective cone-shaped natural hazards, if you will)
2. Blender render of four successively higher stratovolcanoes. From front to back: Rainier, Elbrus, Chimborazo, Ojos del Salado. Gives a decent sense of a mountain's altitude vs its actual size.
3. Alternate view of the DRE cubes for Toba's eruption 74,000 years ago (left) and Taupo's Oruanui eruption 26,000 years ago (right) over NYC

5. Rakaposhi placed off the coast of the San Francisco Bay Area
6. A really simple chart comparing satellite photos of the eruptions of Pinatubo and Hunga Tonga at the same scale. The typhoon next to them is 1979's Typhoon Tip, although earlier in its life before reaching peak size and intensity.
