Also to answer your question, yes, Dragon's Lair was a real video game! It was the first video game run on laser disk technology. The player controls a character named Dirk (a knight trying to rescue a princess) and controls the character's actions by selecting actions that flash on the screen (basically a precursor to quick-time actions in today's games). If the player selected wrong or was too slow, Dirk met a grisly fate. The animation in the game was done by Don Bluth's studios (Disney's top competitor back then). I played it way back during that time in the arcades and it was fun but also expensive; four quarters as opposed to most video games' quarter-per-play.
