She came from nothing and pulled herself up by her bootstraps, but now she feels like she's wasting her talents helping a bank expand instead of doing meaningful work. She said she wanted to 'change the world' like Atticus Finch, but now she sees working class people like she was being screwed over by the legal system, while at the same time, she is expected to ignore them and drop everything for Kevin, a nepo baby who inherited the bank from his father. She is beginning to resent Kevin and Mesa Verde for same reasons she came to resent Howard and HHM. She has learned to succeed in the white collar world, but Kim is not really of that world. She is an outsider, who never feels fully comfortable surrounded by these people from privileged backgrounds.
