We see two major developments at the end here! The birth of Mike working with Gus and Jimmy's realisation of how to earn easy money. He learns a couple of lessons in this episode. His attempts to go about business in an honest and by-the-book way was unsuccessful. What does he know works? His Slippin' skills! Jimmy's learned multiple times as the show's gone on that doing things "the right way" (echoing the end of S1) doesn't work for him, and the underhanded ways are effective. Though they do tend to bite back in the end... He also learns how he can weaponise his position as a lawyer to basically intimidate people into getting what he wants, abusing the system he's a part of. Very Saul of him... And it's (one of) the exact reasons why Chuck desperately didn't want Jimmy to be a lawyer. "The law is sacred. When you abuse that power, people get hurt." So he realises that, plus how he can do that in tandem with criminals to make good money off them. Saul Goodman might have been born in E6 for his ad business, but it's my opinion that "Better Call Saul" was conceived in that moment when he's looking at the $700. The Nacho scene is so intense even after re-watch. A successful switch! What will happen to Hector now? We know what he's like in BB... The Kim/Howard stuff is interesting. He was certainly being a condescending prick, and let's not forget Howard knows Jimmy is guilty of the forgery and then witnessed him tear down his brother's reputation publicly simply so as to not get disbarred. It was a cut-throat strategy, Jimmy feeling it justified after how Chuck constantly undermined him but Kim obviously having some guilt over it as we saw in last episode & this with her writing the cheque. But she has a point. Howard did seem to believe Chuck's condition to be genuine, but he knows now. A senior partner at the firm has a pretty serious mental illness. That's not something to just paper over with wining & dining... One of the best aspects of the writing for this show is with every argument or dispute, both people tend to be correct where they're coming from. Lastly, when you get to next episode, it's worth thinking about its link with this episode's name before you get in to it.

Yeah Jimmy takes bumps like a wrestler and sells the pain to get his way and scam someone.

Fun little bit of "Did you see it?" Trivia for you - The date on Kim's check was March 4, 2003 however when Kim walks Kevin and Paige to their car, there is a 2015 Nissan Murano on the left side of the screen, which obviously wouldn't be out in 2003 😂 but these mistakes happen, it's hard to control every single car coming and going in a public place. The fact that Vince and crew have kept both BCS and BrBa in such a tight, nearly flawless timeline with very few set mistakes is astounding

I don't think any of Jimmy's slip-and-falls were "fake" per se. More like staged and exaggerated. Like professional wrestling. I think it's fair to say Jimmy has genuinely hurt himself a lot over the years.
