Progress on upcoming mods

hi, here is some news on my current work

• Life in Santa County 4K reworking for animations is almost complete, I've used a new upscaling model that recovers more detail on background textures, more coherence on dark scenes while maintaining (or slightly reducing) added detail on foreground textures like characters + a big reduction in file size (-40%) which I hope will improve performance in the renpy engine.

New game on list - Where the heart is

As mentionned in the last post, this game is being reworked so this mod only contains animations from the first 1-3 episodes.

For installation, just copy the mod folder into the game folder and confirm overwriting.

Hi !

• The next game on list will be "Where the Heart is".

  I just found out that the development team has reworked the first episodes of the game. So I don't think it would be worthwhile to include all the episodes in the mod, as a lot of the animations would have to be reworked. Of course, I'll update my mod when another reworked content is available.

• "Life in Santa County" has been updated but it looks like another update with content or QoL is expected. As...

Update on mods progress

hello,

quick update on what i'm working at this moment.

I spent my free time this week completely reworking my "Apocalust" mod (1080p + 4K).

I'm goind to do the same for "Desert Stalker" because I wasn't really satisfied with it : too much detail-destructive in order to get rid of flickering artefacts

Then I'll work on "My Pleasure" which was the winner of the last poll

the mod on "My life in Santa County" is on hold. The dev team had the brillant idea...

Anyway, the CH12 is still in beta but it will certainly be compatible with the fixed version.

Hi,

Another game that has been suggested for a while and  I personally like a lot.

686 animations have been interpolated to 60 fps.

I also applied a post-processing filter which get rid of most compression artefacts and added a sharpening effect on top of that.

New game progress: My life in Santa County

Hello,

As I've said in my patreon opening post, I was planning to make a whole 4K conversion of My life in Santa County.

Turns out, it is more complicated than i was thinking. Most of my problems come from the sandbox aspect of the game and the static renders included in it.

That's why I prefer to split the 4K assets and release the game in two parts : Animations only first, then with static renders included.

Animations are packaged as a mod (like i did for Midnight Pa...
