Spider-Man: Far From Home (runtime 2:09:23) - Patreon Version

SPIDER-MAN! 🕸️
Always love me some more Spidey. This one was super interesting... It was a lot more dark than I would have expected, but I actually really liked that. I love that Peter has a heart of gold and is always trying to do the right thing, and look out for all the little people. His whole thing with MJ is also so cute and awkward hahaha. And Ned is just the BEST!

Haha I'm excited for that too!!

I read that you want to see Spider-Man (2002) next, but I recommend you watch something else. I've created a special list for you on how to best watch the MCU after Endgame, including the X-Men and Spider-Man movies, as well as the so-called Defenders Saga. The MCU movies and series are still in release order, with the extra movies in between. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Wzbf8-mSB6UW_nbLRSAHNAMgxFMiSFFeLd-za7bqsg4/edit?gid=0#gid=0

I'm excited for when we get to watch Chandra and Jordan experience a new MCU film together! This is the true team-up we have been waiting for.

What I love most about the MCU Spider-Man films is that they gradually build Peter Parker into the Spider-Man that we all know and love. Spider-Man's life is complicated beyond comprehension. The Garfield and Toby movies hint at it, but they always BEGIN their stories with those life-altering complications. The MCU Spider-Man takes 4 movies to build up to what makes Peter Parker Spider-Man (no spoilers). Spider-Man stories are all about Peter Parker's superhero life intersecting with his personal life. The MCU handles this in a way that is so brilliant that all I can do is cry. I think people just related to the stress of what this little dude is going through. He just wants love, but there's always some bullshit getting in the way of that. We want Peter to be happy, but we know that a happy Peter would probably end our interest in the character. (For the record, Happy Peter would only make me love the character even more, but that's not how General Audiences work, unfortunately).
