I don't even know what to say. This was an incredible end to a huge journey that I absolutely loved going on with all of you. I know there are more Marvel movies to look forward to still, but this definitely feels like an ending to something these characters have been working towards for a long time. 2025-09-06 16:21:19 +0000 UTCSomething else I thought of - remember Tony's vision in Age of Ultron - Cap's shield broken, Natasha dead, Hawkeye bowed in defeat, Hulk pierced with arrows, Thor defeated. Cap asks "Why didn't you do more?" Two of those things still happened. But Tony "did more" and prevents the rest from happening with his sacrifice. Also Steve giving Sam the shield is a callback to what Dr. Erskine told Steve when he injected the super soldier serum in the first place: "Not a good soldier but a good man." Bucky's a good soldier, Sam's a good man.
