80's Fantasy Movie Poll!

Alrighty first off, last week's winner for the TV poll was Stranger Things: Season 1. The votes were so close though, so here's what we're going to do... We're going to continue with The Mandalorian for right now, and we're going to start Stranger Things for October!
We see that there's a lot of passion for other shows too, so this Fall we're going to put together another BIG TV poll, like we did last year. The week before we post that poll, we'll ask for your favourite TV show recommendations, so start saving them up!
As for this week, we took your suggestions from previous posts and made them into a super fun 80's Fantasy poll! ❤️

2025-07-29 03:26:29 +0000 UTCOk so I noticed that I (and I am not alone) am heavily biased towards the theatrical and international cut of Ridley Scott’s Legend as that is what grew up on and enjoyed both narratively, tone and with the TD score/music. With the most recent cut even though as mentioned below that it removes much of what people liked about what they have seen, and does cut out some kind of important plot scenes that are kind of important which ever version. The director’s cut is closer to Ridley Scott’s original vision of the film. So I would be happy with whatever version you watch including the director’s. It does change the film dramatically in the characters elements and the films ending for the characters is completely different. And the score is original to what he wanted but completely changed including the end song 😢 which I love. But if you watch the DC I would be happy. Again not to give away anything about which version is which tone wise. 🖖

2025-07-27 18:52:01 +0000 UTCI think you mean nobody does Legend perhaps the greatest high fantasy next to LoTr (my take! ❤️). This is an amazing poll and any of these will be so fun. But the reactor community is seriously missing out on RS’s original high fantasy Legend. If it gets chosen just do the theatrical. Ridley Scott admitted to removing to much of what people enjoyed from the theatrical release for the directors cut. 🖖
