April update

Hey team, I wanted to get you a quick update.

Nothing really has happened since the last one besides doctor and nurse visits and a meeting with one of the surgeons.

Not a whole lot to do for now except wait for the surgery date the 22nd. I'm so eager to get this thing out. Symptoms are continuing to worsen very gradually but the meds do an okay job of keeping them managed.

Sorry that I don't have much to update you on. We're just hanging in there as best we can.

Status Report

Hey all, I apologize for the late update. I wanted to make sure all my family knew the game plan first.

The news came back from labs; no evidence of malignancy. So my neuro-surgeon will proceed with a tumor resection surgery.

That's been scheduled for the 22nd of April with a bunch of meetings prior with the cooperating vascular surgeon, PCP nurses and consultation. It's a little daunting and the operation itself is going to be a fairly significant one. They'll be cutting into m...

Update: Finally some answers

Howdy all,

 I hope you're doing well and had some time over the holiday and new year to enjoy yourselves.

This is mostly an update to my current medical status regarding the ongoing issue I've been dealing with as I don't want you guys to be kept in the dark about it.
Recently I had a series of investigative MRIs that revealed, after contrast, a series of large tumors at the base of my right C8 and T1 nerve roots.

A quick update on my situation:
I had a follow up with my doctor. We're sort of at a dead end with treatment and diagnostic options. I'll be getting a c-spine injection later this month to hopefully get some relief. I'm staying optimistic about it.
I'll keep you guys updated as things change but I should be able to continue to increase the length of ...

Howdy everyone. I wanted to get you an update and thank you for your continued patience and support.

Unfortunately we didn't learn anything from the diagnostics and my symptoms have continued to gradually worsen while evading conventional methods. I'll be going in for a follow up at the end of the month to discuss surgical treatments. Will update accordingly when I have more info to share.

Work-wise my tempo has picked up a little bit. I'm getting backlog cleared up and sketches...

Update

Hey all, I wanted to give a quick update.

Things on my end have continued to decline steadily. There's good days and bad days and luckily I've been able to take advantage of the good ones to get a good chunk of work finished.

The MRI showed nothing, my c-spine is perfectly healthy. I have an EMG scheduled for next week that will likely give some kind of info. I'll keep you all posted.

Gonna risk doing some regular streaming as long as things hold out starting tomorrow @10...

Hey everyone! I hope you've all had a nice Winter holiday so far.  

It's been very low key on my end for the first time in a while but my nerve compression has been steadily getting worse over the last few weeks. and its interfering with my ability to work for any length of time.  I suspect it's a mix of ulnar compression somewhere in the armpit/outer scapula and thoracic outlet compression. Gonna head to urgent care this week and see if I can't get something going to address...

Fall Update

 Hey everyone, I hope you guys have had a great summer.
I wanted to thank everyone both for your continued patience and for reaching out or just leaving a comment. This is a pretty rough time and its pretty heartening to hear everyone's supportive words, its helped a lot.

I'm still getting everything settled. I made it back to the midwest and have had to deal with several unexpected crises here thats put me back about three weeks. Mold and water damaged most of my belongings so...
