2025-06-18 03:40:34 +0000 UTCSuch an iconic movie. My wife and I still say "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K" every time we go to one lol. The movie was actually filmed in the Phoenix, AZ area (and connected cities in the metro area) and the "San Dimas" mall was actually a mall here called Metrocenter which I grew up in the 80s and 90s going to. Always fun nostalgia for me seeing that mall (even though they redesigned the look, the layout was the same mostly). Sadly the mall has been torn down and repurposed now... before closing they had a day where anyone could run around the mall and there was a big ole Bill & Teds cult following that went there, skated around the mall, a Wyld Stallions cover band even. There are youtube videos of it, sadly I missed it.

2025-06-11 19:09:52 +0000 UTCA most triumphant reaction! I didn't go to the theater much as a kid so I caught this on VHS and when it aired on TV. Watched this so many times I know it by heart. There was an animated series made in 1990 between this and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey. They tried doing a live action TV series in 1992 but it only lasted 8 episodes. It would take 8 more years before Bill and Ted would come back and that was the one I saw in the theater in late 2020. Hope you watch them soon!
