Okay, okay... I know I said that the Thor movies are my favourite so far... and that Captain America is way up there too... BUT THIS WAS ACTUALLY THE BEST EVER! Groot... Groot!?! Like are you fricken kidding me! He's sooooo loveable and cool! And Rocket! what a badass little dude! I can't get over how much fun this movie was... oh and the soundtrack. The best movie soundtrack ever created? Yes, yes I think so. I really hope you have as much fun with this movies as I did โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ

I saw this and Volume 2 in the theater and they're great! Hadn't seen this in a couple years so it was nice coming back to it. Howard the Duck has been around in the comics since 1973 and they made a film in 1986 but the less said about the film the better lol

2025-05-30 03:06:47 +0000 UTCThis is one of many movies over the last decade that I ignored because I saw the trailer and it looked too silly for me. I thought I would hate it. Boy, was I wrong. When I saw Rocket in the trailer, I thought he would just be annoying, and now he's one of my favorite characters in film. Oh, and I agree about all the space shots in this movie--they're beautiful. I recently learned how to make images like those in Photoshop. Mine don't look anything like the ones in this film, but it's fun to practice. I'm hoping with time mine will look as good. This movie came out in 2014, and it still looks fabulous. 11 years old, and the CGI still looks as good as it does. It's incredible. At one point during the reaction, Chandra, you said something like you hope the other two films in this series are as good as this one. FYI: They are. I love the first two, but the third is actually my favorite.
