The taunting from the French is the best! Also love The Knights Who Say "NI!"

Wade Wallenstein

Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves with Kevin Costner & Alan Rickman is pretty fun. I used to watch that one a lot when I was younger :)

My favourite part of the movie is the bit with the peasants, But my favourite part to see people react to is the first french scene.

First fun Medieval movie that comes to mind for me is Dragonheart.

Simone's Coconut Squire

Since no one else in the comments has pointed it out yet, I'll be the one: The reason for the coconut shells instead of horses was because they didn't have the budget for horses, so they turned it into a bit. Similarly, they didn't have the money for a giant battle scene at the end, so, instead, they ended the movie with a pun; it was a literal "cop out." It was awesome to share Chandra's first Monty Python experience with y'all. I was excited to hear that Jordan hasn't seen any other Monty Python movies, so let me be among the first to recommend you continue with Monty Python's The Life of Brian. It doesn't take place in medieval times but is set instead in Biblical times. It's a slightly more coherent movie that doesn't feel quite as much like a string of lightly connected sketches, though that vibe is certainly still there and the humor is just as surreal and weird (and smart). Anyway, it's hilarious and I think you'll really enjoy it. FUN FACT: Life of Brian was financed by George Harrison of the Beatles. He was a fan of Monty Python and set up his production company, HandMade Films, specifically to help fund Monty Python's Life of Brian for £3 million (that's 1970s pounds, btw). He said he funded it because he "wanted to see the movie," a statement which was later described by Python cast member Terry Jones as "the world's most expensive cinema ticket." As far as recs for other medieval movies, I'll leave all the serious, action-y ones to other commenters and instead suggest a surrealist, existential tragi-comedy set in the late Middle Ages called "Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead." It stars Gary Oldman and Tim Roth as the titular Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two minor characters from Shakespeare's "Hamlet", and follows them through their exploits just outside the bounds of "Hamlet" (while the "Hamlet" story continues on around them). It's written by, directed by, and based on a play by Tom Stoppard (Oscar-winner for another of his films, "Shakespeare In Love"), and is funny, deep, thought-provokingly philosophical, and brilliant. Stoppard is known for his dialogue and wordplay and "Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead" takes the dialogue to a whole 'nother level. So, yeah, that's my rec.

Just tone down the comedy a tiny, tiny bit and it's essentially The Game of Thrones.

A Knight's Tale would be a fun Medieval movie watch

Rogue

Ivanhoe(1952) is a great classic. Excalibur (1981) is another King Arthur movie that's awesome. For light hearted fair you could do the animated Disney films The Sword in the Stone ( 1963) or Robinhood ( 1973). A Knights Tale ( 2001) is really good and funny. Almost any version of Robinhood. Kingdom of Heaven (2005) is a good one about the Crusades. Their are more but these are the best that come to mind.

I haven't seen this movie in so long - I forgot how funny it is!

Geneva

The troupe began with the TV series Monty Python's Flying Circus. All were tired of comedy sketches which lasted after the joke was made. So their skits ended when they were done, with no denouement. Their first movie was a group of sketches from the show. I would love to see reactions to the TV show.
