You and stannis were the only ones who thought the idea of Ned cheating was off...when someone mentioned jon to stannis he said "that wasn't Ned starks way"...and jon didn't know that's why before he and Ned split up in episode 2 of the first season Ned said next time I see you ill tell you about your mother, knowing next time Ned saw him he would have taken his vows and he'd be a man of the nights watch and outside the reach of the king..Ned should have told Measter Aemond though cuz alot of the people who didn't like jon at the wall like Allister Thorn hated him because they were sent to the wall for being Targaryan supporters during roberts rebellion

There's always a chance! We can make a note to put it on our next tv series poll!

oh dang, i watched all of the got reactions in about one week. my favorite things to watch are lotr and game of thrones reactions when it comes to visual media. And watching you react to it is a lot of fun because you catch up on things. You two are pretty smart, i appriciate that. btw, as you were talking about the music in lotr and got i was thinking about my other favorite thing to watch. which is people reacting to Nightwish's Ghost Love Score from Wacken 2013. i know you are not a music reaction channel, but if you have some time, maybe check it out on your own and let me know how you liked it. I would bet, it gives you the same ... mood as the got opening. at least it does for me. cant wait for the next episodes to come out.

Chris Cross

Hello any chance on you guys reacting to Star Wars the animated series?

Well we know now with Bran's visions that he told at least one other lie (question is if you classify it as a big one). His defeat of Ser Arthur Dayne, Sword of the Morning was not as heroic as he appears to have originally told his children. What with Howland Reed stabbing him from behind just after Ser Arthur Dayne soundly defeated Ned.

Yeah, Robert was hellbent on killing Dany and her brother once he heard about Dany’s wedding to Khal Drogo. He definitely would have killed Jon. Ned told two big lies in his life. He kept Jon’s identity a secret and made everyone think he cheated on Catelyn, so save Jon’s life. And then before he was executed he told another lie about how he “plotted to take the throne” in order to protect Sansa and Arya.

Came here to bring this up! I love love love watching people figure this out! One warning - do NOT look at the comments on that video, there are future spoilers all over. But the video itself is excellent. Also here is another one showing the family tree. Basically, Danaerys is Jon’s aunt! https://youtu.be/kHqzFwodZqQ

I feel like this episode gets overshadowed by the previous "Battle of the Bastards", but this one is great from start to finish.

Paul De'Armond

Oh dang... I hadn't considered that. You make a lot of good points.

Chandra

Great reaction!

Derwin Riley

Oh my gosh, it's true!! If Maester Aemon had only known!

Chandra

Nobody ever asks the big question :) But you did ... He kept it a secret because Robert, his friend, would have killed Jon if he knew... Now you know why I found the scene with Maester Aemon so sad. He never found out that he was not the only Targaryen in the room. Edit: Also ... and I may be wrong here but after having watched the series a number of times I find myself wondering this time around, with this episode if Cercei actually tried to coax Tommen into suicide, or at the very least to hurt/punish him by making him watch. Her reaction seems to be quite indifferent here. The more I think about it I have to wonder. After all he betrayed her so many times at this point. He didn't visit her when she was held. He then didn't visit her again after her walk of shame. He conspired with Margery to join forces with the faith foiling the planned attack to take out the high sparrow (which would have solved Cercei's trial problem). And last but certainly not least then conspired again with the faith to declare 'trial by combat' illegal, effectively nuking the last (semi-sane) way she had to escape the trial.
