I love this episode so much. One of my favorite parts is when Simon is talking to Jayne - I believe he's being sincere when he tells Jayne that he isn't in any danger when he's on the table. But I also believe that Simon knew *exactly* what he was doing, and how much of an undercurrent of threat there was in his actions during that scene (he showed Jayne that he is able to completely incapacitate him, and walked around Jayne, poking and prodding, giving him some sort of injection, all while Jayne couldn't move at all - if that's not scary, I don't know what is). It's such a great example of show, don't tell - which Firefly does amazingly well.

Your favorite episode...so far. Also, the guy's chin wig was cut into a horseshoe mustache.
