2024-07-13 00:33:25 +0000 UTCI know this is WAY late, but when you guys were talking about the intro and the fungus spreading into shapes at the end, so I also wanted to point out that it's not just at the end. The first part of the sequence does show close up of "skyscraper buildings" that the fungus shapes into. Then it pans up to show big clusters that represent cities like when you see the planet at night and all the city lights are glowing. Which leads to a full view of the continental United States, completely formed by fungus! Then as it pans back down to a profile view, it forms a side view of a face that looks like it's screaming. And then, of course, the two silhouettes that represent Joel and Ellie.
