Not dead!

Hello all,

I hope you all had a lovely festive period. It's that weird time between Xmas and New Year where time doesn't seem real and there's a lot of pressure to suddenly transform into this faultless version of yourself in just a few days.

I wanted to let you know that I'm getting back into the filming swing of things over the next few days. I've been going through some private health issues over the festive period (both mental and physical) that I haven't disclosed previously, and it's taken me a while to get me head around everything that's been going on with my mind and body. When I know a little more, I'll share it with you all. In the meantime, I'm resting, being kind to my body and planning what I want to make in the New Year.

I have more recording dates next month for the album - I sure do wish this past year had been easier, if not just in terms of scheduling things! - but for now I'm thinking about the immediate future. I'd like to see a return of the shorter, more innocent vlogging style that we all used to know and love. Videos that aren't forced to be over 10 minutes, aren't about spending a million dollars, or picking fights with celebrities for clout. After the year we've had, wouldn't it be nice to just see someone sit down a couple of times a week, talking about what's on their mind? That's where I'm at right now - ultimately my health has to take priority so I'll follow what my body wants in terms of when I can record, but I'd be interested to hear what you think.

Also, if you have access to the Vault tier, I'd love to hear more feedback on the acoustic version of Blossom that I posted last week - it hasn't got a ton of response and I'm hoping it's just down to it being the festive period. It was a lot of fun putting that song together for you.
