2024-05-11 01:19:44 +0000 UTCSuspending trade will raise cost of goods here and lead to war sooner. The world market for steel, food and electronics will just absorb savings for what we don't buy. IE China will still have an economy. Being against trade even with bad countries is a bad strategy. There's a reason we didn't do that during the Cold War. It doesn't work. What we should be doing is enforcing our laws and protecting our border. The reason we're not doing that is because our people are too corrupt to elect new leadership that isn't bought off by China's government.
