Seems like the serum is helping him open up a little more emotionally.

They dig in and it is hard to take in any form of kindness because it goes against what you've been told throughout your life. Despite everything that has happened, Colt deserves that kindness. He deserved it decades ago. And Lola is the best person there to give him kindness with nothing but love and honesty.
