I think/hope it's still enjoyable on it's own, but check out the related reading link at the end if you may have missed the connections to a previous series from last year, which may clear some things up that I didn't explain explicitly in this story.

I was planning to later, but I didn't want it to be too obvious right at the start. That I think about it, though, I suppose there's no harm in it.
