A Much Needed Update!!!

Hey guys! I can't believe how long it's been since I've updated this thing. I apologize for slacking so hard on stuff. I just feel like since our front page feature on Twitch in March, my life has been in a nonstop spiral of STUFF to do. Granted, it hasn't been terrible, mostly good things, but regardless I think this week I finally hit a breaking point. I've taken a small step away from streaming this week in an attempt to get my room back to a state of "zen", and also to refocus my efforts on some projects/things that have fallen behind the back burner, Patreon being one of them.

So let's see, how do we do this. In March, we were on the front page for the entire month for Women's History Month (oh my GOODNESS that was wild.) This led to us finally achieving the much coveted "purple check" in April. May and June were apparently just regular ol months (looks at calendar, trying to remember what even happened this year LOL), but they were chock full of preparation for the massive trip I would be taking in July.

Then July finally came, and oh my goodness what an adventure that was. I started my trip in Paris, just a few blocks from the Expo center where TwitchCon was being held. I met so many of my amazing Twitch friends, and made so many new ones too. Every single day at the convention was amazing and life changing. The musical performances were so fantastic, and the folks from the community who came out to support their favorite artists were some of the sweetest people I've ever met.

After Paris, I went up to northern France to spend some time with Bouddhiste, and got a bunch of jamming in with our 505s synced up. That VOD is still up on his channel, and it is absolutely magical, I highly recommend checking it out.

After France, I went to Belgium for one night, where I checked out a ton of local beers, had a real Belgian waffle (soooo yummy), and then did some drunken karaoke at a little Irish pub. I made a few friends while I was there so hopefully I get to go back and visit for longer than one night!

The next day, I flew to Antalya, Turkey, and met up with someone I've known online for like 12 years. I was supposed to be there for a week, but things changed abruptly (long story) and I decided to break away from that part of my trip and detour over to Barcelona.

Barcelona was, without a doubt, the most amazing city I have ever been to. Maybe it was just the magic of breaking away from the not so great situation in Turkey, or maybe it was the summer sun that glimmered off the old architecture in the city, but regardless, I found myself completely in love with Spain. I spent two nights in Barcelona. I visited the Cathedral, some museums, various little shoppes, parks, etc. Ate the best paella in all of the world, had some amazing Caribbean food, and made lots of friends. Then, I took a train down to a small city called Cunit, where I stayed for a few days and basically laid on the beach all day and night haha.

After Spain, I went up to Amsterdam where I spent time with the lovely Actitect. We went to the Colin Benders concert and jammed with Sprk Noise til like 6am. The next day I spent on my own in the red light district of Amsterdam, which was absolutely wild since we have nothing like that here in NY lol! So much fun.

After Amsterdam, I went to Ireland! I spent two nights in Dublin, and had initially anticipated being there for as long as possible, but realized quickly that I wasn't as enamoured with the city as I was the first time I visited. So, I looked at my options, and decided to go to Belfast for a few nights. Unfortunately I was sick for most of that time, but I did get to see an arboretum, go on a Game of Thrones tour, and met a friendly raven along the way.

After Ireland, I went to Iceland for a bit. Spent some time in Reykjavik at my friend's place, and then a couple of nights in Keflavik near the airport. I met up with another friend who encouraged me to hike up to the volcano with him, and that's what you see in the pic attached to this post. We weren't gonna do the whole thing, but next thing we knew it was like 4 hours later and we were there haha.

And that, my friends, is the sparknotes version of my trip. I really ought to write it all down properly, but having some of it here will be helpful until I get around to really writing all the details down lol.

So, now I am assembling this month's package for those of you who get goodies in the mail. I'm going to have to combine Aug/Sept since this is so late. I will try to draw you all something cute by hand and mail everything out by Thursday. Also, for those of you who missed my first stream back, here is a link to my personal photo album in Google Drive. I made it viewable to anyone with the link but please don't share with anyone else. Let's keep it as a perk for you guys. ;)

So, all that being said. I am still figuring out my limits as far as how much I am capable of regarding my creative output and stuff.. and I may start searching for a day job to help with bills and stuff, but I promise to keep you all updated as life happens.

Thank you for all your love and support, and thank you for being so patient with me! You are important, and you are loved!
