Poll of the Pages: Copying Text

The new and improved Relics of the Realms are heading your way pretty soon. And I have a question for you!
Currently, text (and images) cannot be copied from the pages. I chose to do so to prevent people from copying or stealing content after an instance of an ex-patron (lower tier patron) professionally printing all my cards in multiple sets and re-using the art without permission in semi-professional settings. I have not found a way to prevent copying of images, but allow copying of text.
Currently, you are also able to copy the text from Sea of Starlight, but I understand you can only do so as long as you are a patron, and not after you have unsubscribed but have the pdf.
So the question is: As a patron or owner of the pdf, would you like to be able to copy the text from the pages (pdfs)?

For your art you should look into digital water mark that in the pdf doesnt show but if copied shows up super clear. There are also invisble ones that you know are there and can use to fight them leaglly if needed.

2023-03-12 03:25:26 +0000 UTCThat said, itโs terrible that your work is getting stolen, and I would understand if you changed things to avoid that. I do believe (cynically) that people/programs that plan on stealing will just adjust though, leading to inaccessibility mostly only for those that are genuinely using your work for the intended purpose.
