Chapter 5 April Update

We're really cooking with this chapter, the entire team is going so hard on it. I know I've missed the early April hopeful release date. But the release is near, we're looking at mid-May.

But let me give you an update on just how much work has been made.

We're crossing the 30k word mark with the script, it will be our biggest to date. And there just isn't a good place to split it into two parts in my opinion.

Solo our new main sprite artist has completely finished the entire cast.

Nick our artist for excursions has completed that cast, as well as two additional new character sprites one will be appearing in chapter 5, the other in Excursions.

Carafe has completed one background, and one CG both will be appearing in Chapter 5. They are actively working on a backfill BG which will be a close up of Video Den exterior.

Itymrno has completed one CG and one BG that will be appearing in chapter 5, as well as 2 backgrounds that will be appearing in the next excursions story.

Robin has completed one CG, another in progress, and one background.

Perro has completed one background which will be in Chapter 6. Additionally he is going to be working on replacing Cody's apartment. The apartment will look mostly the same, but this will enable us to created the "lived in" version that we've planned for a while now.

Venk has nearly finished a bg that will be in chapter 5.

HYENABLOOD has crafted so far six tracks for chapter 5, and is currently planning 2 more. Additionally one song already made will be making an appearance in this build.

Jason has nearly finished a chapter select. It will enable you to jump to the newest chapter, or any chapter. As well as let you make the choice decisions from all previous chapters. While the save issues are frustrating, this will be a quicker work around going forward.

While I won't divulge any spoilers, Chapter 5 has a lot of things coming together. Many threads so far will be advanced in ways I feel you'll all really enjoy. Additionally I can confirm that with chapter 5, this will be the first build where the SFW toggle will entirely skip a scene. There will be no alternate dialogue, and I won't say more beyond that.

I know y'all have been waiting for this. But it will be worth it.
