September Painting Complete

I learned a lot of little things about myself while pushing to make something presentable—lessons I can actually apply, for once! I think two that stand out is that setting any kind of schedule is a recipe for stress disaster and resentment of the work, and that I ought to put more work in characters that actually fit together.
I'm still going to be doing the two paintings a month thing, but I'll see if I can work some smaller stuff in here and there to cut down on the weeks of radio silence. I'll do my best to deliver on my promises this time. If I can't, I'm done.
