GUNBRAIN (sneek peek)

Whattup REYYTRONS!

Production on GUNBRAIN, a new short comic by me, has begun! Here's a page preview of the comic! 

GUNBRAIN is gonna be a 40 page comic. I've got it entirely plotted out. 

The title "GUNBRAIN" came from an image I saw online of a FIGHTER JET's internals-- I like thinking of MACHINES as ORGANICS and the notion of a "GUNBRAIN" just krept to mind

This was during a discussion online and once I typed out the word "GUNBRAIN" I knew I needed to make a 1990's era Sega Genesis game about it or a comic. And since I can't make a sega genesis game in the 90's anymore (sadface), I decided to make it a COMIC!

GUNBRAIN evokes a lot of gaming influence from my youth, including stuff like METAL SLUG, CONTRA, MUSHA and cartoons like EXO SQUAD... 

I have this whole ANIMAL SOLDIERS element to it that is my own touch. This particular element is, well, you will see.

So, I came up with a basic plot.

Then i plotted out that plot into a whole short-story comic. 

Let me tell you: IT IS WILD

A lot happens in the 40 pages!

Gonna be so much fun

I will post completed chunks of gunbrain (LOL that sounds gnarly) until it's completion, which I am seriously hoping will be done before EMERALD CITY COMIC CON (MARCH 12)

If you're going to ECCC, I'll be at table 501 ! (on the Main Show Floor, not Artist Alley!)

GUNBRAIN updates, as well as continued SHARKNIFE FIGHT MACHINE updates will be happening here, probably pretty consistently, for the following two months! (comic updates will be for ppl at $3+ tier!)

I have new pin designs for Coastalvania. These are just the hi-res art mockups, of course, not the actual pin(s), but they will look very close to this! 

^An updated version of my "LOVE MACHINE" pin (a Terminator) for VALENTINE'S SEASON 2020 ! Of course, it is meant to be enjoyed any time, not just for V-DAY ;) This one is gonna be printed on GOLD METAL, with the LINE ART & color bits SCREEN PRINTED-- so the golden metal parts are gonna shine thru! It's gonna be hooooottt

It just struck me that this epic image should be a pin. I re-drew this from a screenshot. 

And another iteration of my "NASANGELION" Nasa x Evangelion mashup pin! I did one already that featured Unit-02 (the red one, my personal fav) but knew I'd be doing a UNIT-01 eventually to match it (I also love Unit-01!)

These NASANGELION pins are super fun. I feel Eva and Nasa as a concept go very well together, what with the whole space / rainbow aesthetic. Also, I love NASA mission patches a LOT, so this mashup is heaven 2 me

This Unit-01 version will have screen printed elements, and as well be printed on GOLD metal! It's gonna be BEEEEEAUTIFUL!
