Sapphire Safari
After our release of the first alpha, we have been fixing a lot of the issues and bugs you’ve all been reporting. So we changed our main menu from being a level to being a recorded video which means there won’t be any loading times for opening the game. We are also building support for controllers, along with making alterations to the settings to allow for keybinding to take effect. The next patch will focus on optimizations and build our new sex mechanics out.
Elewder
Aside from building our new trailer and focusing on getting to the beta section of our roadmap, we focused on building out the narration system. This is an interesting mix of UI and camera integration. We had to separate out the models to appear in a neutral space with unique lighting to make the system display the NPC talking. UI is still in production, so is the GOR animation system, and finally, we are working on the player housing and other things related to the metagame system.
Under Contract
The player animation system for the gameplay system is done, we are working on adding in a generic minion next. The overworld got a big overhaul as well, with new icons and gates being added to make things a lot easier. In the art department, we have new chibis, new sizing for the characters. Music is also in full swing now, and we are expecting a 20ish track OST for the game filled with smooth jazz and low-fi tunes.
Wet Nightmares
We are close to having our demo done, the biggest issue is a flickering effect in our video player in the engine, not sure what is causing such a thing to happen but we are doing everything we can to eliminate this issue. Hopefully, we can have the preorder up by the end of this month. We will see.
