The first half of September has gone by so quickly, but it’s been a hell of a ride so far!
Sapphire Safari
What a big moment for Sapphire this week! If you did not see the news we released the first Alpha for the game which covers our massive dev time from the prototype until now. Be sure to read the post here but the main reason it took us sooooo long to do was we pivoted the game from an on-rails game to one set in the open world. We basically had to start from scratch, I am glad we did though, we are very happy with the current feel of the game and it will only get better from here.
Elewder
This week has been a crazy one, we are about two months away from heading into the beta phase for the game, meaning this week we did a bunch of planning for what features we want to see in that build and what we need to move back to support the beta coming earlier than we anticipated. This week however we have been focusing on building the new Elewder trailer and building the groundwork for the lockit for translation purposes. The GOR system is also basically working now and the first pass on a brand new user interface is on the way! Woo!
Under Contract
Maximizing our time with Under Contract is a goal for us now that we have had a fantastic release for Sapphire. Basically, our main character gameplay designs are done, and in the engine, they look fantastic! The main body of work has been on the user flow though, we have a lot of plot and narrative to deliver so nailing down how that works is vital to the success of the game. We might even be close enough to make a build for our subscribers, how exciting!
Wet Nightmares
We are building towards the end of September being the release for Wet Nightmares alpha and our universal demo. It is in the final polish stages right now so we are simply cleaning up what we can before we make the move over.
