Retro Anime Laundry Day
Added 2025-04-07 08:17:43 +0000 UTCI'm still enthralled by the way that anime has stylistically mastered the way of using minimal amount of frames to make the animation still feel dynamic and alive, and I am also in love with trying to achieve the fake VHS video look in animation, so I wanted to try and combine them. Tried to combine the two, I haven't quite mastered it yet, but I'm pretty happy with this as a first(?) try.

I find that drawing chubbier female characters makes them feel more "real" to me. Like a skinny female form is an anatomy study, reference sketch, but adding a bit of softness here and there and all lf a sudden that's a human person.
