No rest for the wicked

I need a few hours of Phone Time In Bed to fall asleep (I know, I know, you're not supposed to do that, but none of the correct ways to sleep work as well for me), which usually happens after I've cuddled my boyfriend to sleep, which will happen in roughly 5-8 minutes. But just because he'll fall asleep in minutes doesn't mean we're necessarily done cuddling. Although my boyfriend is thoughtful, selfless, giving and acommodating to a flaw when he's awake, Sleepmode-Blue is very adamant about what he considers rightfully his. We are done cuddling when he decides we're done.

My ex was the same. When we visited his parents, he, his middle brother and his dad would all have conversations while dead asleep (they all kept their doors open).

2025-02-19 16:00:22 +0000 UTCMy first husband was that way. He was also a blast furnace of heat that wanted to be glued to you all night. I, on the other hand, can't sleep if I have someone touching me. I also need the room to be cool to cold. I spent a lot of time in my first marriage sleeping in the guest room. Learned my lesson and second husband and I have separate rooms, with visiting privileges. Has worked perfectly for 39 years.
