Who's right and who's left

Another thing the driving teacher said on our very first theory class, that I will remember forever, was asking us "alright, who among you believes that car crashes only happen when two idiots hit each other?" Some hands did go up. He nodded and said "alright, you can believe that. Just always remember that the first idiot is behind your wheel, and it's up to you to always be on the lookout for where the other idiot is going to bolt from."

God, we've got a four way stop near our house that drives me up a wall. I don't know what they teach in school down here, but it's amazing how many people either don't know the rules or just ignore them. You either get some fool run the stop sign or you get gridlock from people to afraid to go because they are afraid someone will hit them.
