We already knew it wasn't covid or influenza, and I wasn't having symptoms, and a doctor's visit clarified that it's an infection, and he is currently on antibiotics.
Modern medicine is amazing - something that would have been his death 200 years ago is only two or three days in bed today.

Whenever I get discouraged about things, I remind myself that any other point in human history I wouldn't still be here. Modern medicine is amazing.
