My first painted figurine!
Added 2023-12-19 13:14:31 +0000 UTCI tried my hand at painting a Warhammer figure - was trying to get a sort of purple marble/icy frozen feel to it, and didn't quite hit the mark. . I knew I was starting out with more confidence than skill, so I decided to sacrifice this one as a "trial run" before picking up on painting the ones I actually wanted to play with. And considering how this one turned out, I'm glad I decided to do that instead of moving directly onto animal testing. I don't know if Tyranids can canonically feel pain, but I wouldn't have wanted to inflict this onto my babies.
I call him Icarus, and he paid dearly for my hubris.
