Having to annoy all the passersby by shilling something nobody wants, getting ignored, and likely getting blamed by their bosses for the fact that nobody wants it. Sadly, ignoring them is probably still the right option, because if I stopped to talk I’d just be wasting BOTH our time. Sometimes I try to give a "Not interested, but thanks for asking!" if the person doesn't look TOO pushy.
