Fast walkers

I like to take my time when I walk. Sometimes I walk quickly but more often than not I prefer to stroll more than walk quickly.

2023-03-06 17:00:55 +0000 UTCI can totally relate! Even with my arthritis I'm used to walk at a good pace, an irritates me going for a walk with my partner: he walks soooo slowly and if ee sees that I'm slowing down (to help him!) He walks even slower!! It's maddening... hahaha

2023-03-05 21:57:47 +0000 UTCI've been on both sides of the conversation. When I was young, my long legs usually required that I slowed down to stay with the group. Now, all the different physical issues means I'm always reminding my husband to slow down.

What drives me mad is her trying too convince me that slowing down would be a lot of effort for her and tire her out quickly. While I am sweaty and out of breath in my attempt to keep up.
