Resident Eivil: Episode XVI - Incubator

Trapped in a never ending nightmare, Jill Valentine finds herself once again in danger. After being left in the so-called care of Ada Wong whilst Claire Redfield was sent on a quest to the hospital, the S.T.A.R.S soldier finds herself descending further into a nightmare that is all too real.
-------------
Been too long since I did an RE2 set, but boy was the wait worth it. Once I had the idea for the set, I was able to put my thoughts into practice. And the results speak for themselves. Easily my best RE set in my personal opinion.
From the off, I wanted to keep this project simple with a minimal story that tied into previous sets and allowed the overarching narrative to continue. Think something akin to my older sets before I started to expand on my story sections. That was what I was aiming to hark back to.
I’ve always loved the idea of using biomass in a project - something that wouldn’t feel out of place in some H.R. Geiger artwork. That mixture of erotism and horror really interests me. So going into this set, that was a feeling I wanted to capture. Personally I feel like I did. The wide angle shots with Jill’s body being surrounded by that disgusting mass were some of the highlights of the whole set for me.
I’m also pleased how I overcame the challenge of posing with the Drain Deimos model. With its many legs and limbs, posing them is always a total pain in the backside and it’s tricky to get good poses out of them. However, the images near the end where Jill pressed against the biomass were the peak of the set for me. I feared that I wouldn’t do the spider monster justice, but in the end it all came out better than I hoped.
Overall, I'm really happy with this set. No major hiccups besides a swap in model half way through. From the scene, lighting, poses and structure, it was all exactly as I had hoped it would be.
Plus this was a very quick turnaround to make. Started rendering the images on the 7th, and ten days later I've got the set done. If I didn't lose time over the weeend, it would've been out in just 8 days.
As always, love hearing your thoughts on the set. So feel free to sound off wherever you’d like.
Cheers,
Belethor

<div ><div><span class="text">klif x3, I get your point. But I in films they’ll cut between shots and scenes that can seem abrupt but as a viewer you fill in the blanks. Hell, even in porn they’ll jump cut to different positions. I see it akin to that. Plus I’d rather spend time on new poses instead of spending time to pose and render transition poses.  </span></div><div></div></div>
