Hey guys. For another year, you've helped me cover my bills and utilities and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I know I don't update very often here, but before we get into that, I need to inform any of you wondering where the comic is if you've kept up with me over at reddit.
I strongly disagree with how the Azur Lane subreddit is being ran. One of the things i learned a long time ago during the Something Awful Forum's nascent years is that those who can produce entertainin...

Working on it now. It'll be nice, something you'll enjoy, I guarantee.
Watch this space, and again, thank you for your patronage. It's really been a help to me.

A few days ago I was asked by someone where my old webcomic, _Listening to 11.975MHz_, was located or if I archived my strips somewhere. I don't get this question very often because as far as obscure webcomics go, mine was more on the deep web side of things. I never really tried advertising or networking my comic with other webcomic creators, mostly because other webcomic creators at that time were insufferable (and highly political) to say the least. I intentionally kept everyth...

Things have been hectic for me this year and it's noticeably put a dent in my output when it comes to Akagi^2. While I'm between jobs as a software engineer, I agreed to take a part-time position as maintenance for a community of duplexes that my current apartment complex management also happens to manage. This works out for me because I already have all the tools needed for the job, I know plumbing/HVAC/etc, and I have some decent craftsman skills. Just four hours a day, an...

On its way! Let me explain the holdup.
It started on July 4th when, on my way home, I discovered that my car's alternator had decided to give up the ghost and I was able to just barely make it home before my car sucked the battery dry. So, I ordered a new alternator off of Amazon for $84 (Autozone was going to charge me $124 for one of their infamously unreliable rebuilt alternators, and that price is AFTER the core charge) and went to work. Now, I drive a 2012 Fiat 50...

Hey guys, once again thanks for your support. Last year was pretty terrible for me (well, it was pretty terrible for _everyone_.) You're probably wondering why there hasn't been a comic updated in over a month, and that's because I really lucked out and got a swell new job. I can't say for how long it will last (it's contract-based) but it's put me in a better position than I've been for a long, long time.
The problem is it's working on a new product that's going to be rolled ou...

I'd like to start by apologizing how I don't communicate more often over Patreon with you all. I know there's tiers to my support and I was going to try to offer more to higher donating tiers but things are just too difficult at the moment for that -- so, you guys are basically paying to keeping me going with Akagi^2 which (correct me if I'm wrong) was your entire intention in the first place. It is a very humbling thing to produce something that so many people enjoy so much that they a...

Sorry I missed the last two days. Here's the remaining two issues (and in the following post, I am having upload difficulties at the moment.) I have no idea if I will ever return to this comic book series.
This morning I underwent surgery at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital for a minor but long overdue procedure. I was able to return home same day. The Michigan VA is the best in the nation, as far as I am concerned. Anyway, I've returned to work on Akagi^2 and will upd...

Just a few hours late posting this issue, sorry about that.
Fun fact, around 10 years ago I was sitting at my desk drinking a beer and reading /x/ on 4chan when I came across this new thing going on there called "SCP". This was when others on /x/ were picking a number and posting their contribution. Mine was SCP-079, which is an AI that existed on an old Exidy Sorcerer microcomputer. The reason for this particular brand and model of computer was because it used a Z-8...

Alright, going back to work on Akagi^2. Looks like Little Illustrious is another promotional and not story-wise event which is a good thing for my storyline.
Also, Issue 3 of my comic series. This one tops out at almost 60 pages IIRC. I approach comic book stories much the same way Nirvana approached music, that is, they would craft the actual music side of the song first and the lyrics were an afterthought. I draw the entire comic first and then apply what should be the story l...

Alright, because you guys are so awesome, and want to see me continue output while I wait on the next event, I'm going to release my comic book which I originally published on Comixology starting in 2013 and finished #6 early last year; each day for the next six days.
This comic book is based off my original webcomic with the same characters but with a coherent (ahem) storyline. Hope you guys enjoy it, and look forward to #2 tomorrow.

Hey guys,
First of all, a welcome and a huge thank-you to my new patrons. Your contributions really helps with getting this comic out and I truly appreciate it.
I'm going to hold off on releasing any new Akagi^2 comics for the next few weeks or so, because it appears there's going to be another in-game event similar to the one that introduced Akagi-chan, Zeppy, etc last year or so with the announcement of Mini-Illustrious today and I assume there will be a fe...

I have a really bad track record when it comes to me saying "it'll be out tomorrow!" and then I don't finish it, but I'm pretty sure I will. It's all laid out and most of the artwork and toning done already.
20 patrons! Wow. I want you all to know how much I appreciate this. Thank you for supporting my work. Yostar is really going all out for this Crimson Echoes re-run, and with an animated promo featuring Akagi-chan! When that little gem dropped, several folks messaged me...

Terribly sorry, but I'm still finishing up the screentoning and final edits of Akagi^2 #15, and can't get it up tonight like I said I would. Expect to see it uploaded tomorrow morning. I'm about done, but I've decided to be a stickler about giving any comic a good once-over when I'm refreshed and not dog-tired; because that's how silly mistakes get through. Like that time I forgot to draw in Akagi-chan's pigtails and bells a few comics back. Unforgivable.

I will make an effort this weekend to figure out how to get my previous print and web comics accessible to my patrons, as well as starting out on illustrations and the like for higher tiers.
Again, thanks for your support, it really means a lot to me.&n...
