Mansions, Manors & Palaces

Crescent Rowhouse

Arranged in a crescent at the heart of the Hilltop District, these beautifully crafted terraced homes stand out as a landmark in the city. Many of them are owned by government officials and prosperous business owners. It is often rumoured that they are the most expensive properties in the entire city although details of the rare sales are kept under wraps.

This particular house has recently come on the market for what seems to be an extraordinarily low price, and several buyers are unsurprisingly interested. One such buyer is perhaps more cautious than the others and wishes to understand why the price is so low. To this end they are looking to hire a group of skilful thieves to break in and find answers

This set includes 24 different 7x7 inch tiles depicting village themed buildings and spaces that fit a rural setting. They can be used independently or placed side-by side to larger interconnected spaces.

Abandoned Barn - From the outside, this barn looks like it is in frequent use. Goods are stacked nearby and there is little evidence of damage or disrepair. Despite this, it is referred to by the nearby townsfolk as the 'old abandoned barn'. If you choose to approach, you may hear some disconcerting sounds from inside.
Rural Outpost - The outpost is a couple of miles outside of a relatively large trading town, along the main road leading through the area. It is usually manned by a few guards who can give advance warning to the town if there is trouble on the road, but it has been overtaken by a group of thugs who are charging a toll for any who pass, and helping themselves to whatever goods they fancy.
Outcrop - This natural formation is a well known landmark, often referred to when giving directions. Fortunately for you it appears just over the hill as you are being chased by a pack of hungry wolves. Perhaps you can scrabble up in time to avoid being lunch.
Roadside Shrine - This ancient shrine to a half forgotten battle is a popular stopping point along the road. The view is pleasant, and the pump is connected to a fresh water supply below ground. Because of this, traders tend to set up here selling simple wares and food, but it is also known to local bandits as a place where travellers let down their guard.

Governor’s Residence Banquets Hall Scene

Governor Ezra Astallon is a man of obscene wealth. Most assume it is old money, the kind that only exists through noble lineage and inheritance. However certain members of the upper houses whisper that his title is bought and the money ill gotten, although this tends to reek of little more than jealousy. Ezra is well favoured by the Dorran family, and was recently given the role of Governor by the new Emperor herself. Opportunities that many would kill for seem to just fall into his lap.

Certainly Astallon is friendly with numerous members of the lower classes, some of whom may be less than perfectly law abiding, but he is a vivacious and gregarious fellow, overtly friendly with everyone. In particular he is well known among the city’s bards and performers as Astallon loves to share his wealth, putting on regular private shows in the grand ballroom he built within his own estate. The performances are always of the highest calibre, and the after parties legendary. No one who receives an invite turns it down.

Iffan Terasik - There are certain items that can only be bought or sold if you know exactly where to look and who to ask. Every city has that one place where illicit deals can be made, and in this city it's the Hidden Star. At first glance it's a small run down shop selling worthless odds and ends, but if you know the right phrase its proprietor, Iffan Terasik, will lead you through a hidden back door. Prices are steep, but perhaps there is an item you can 'procure' in return instead
Seer Rohr - Seer Rohr is a mysterious figure, she is rarely seen outside of her shop. The sign above the shop door bears no name, only a hard to make out painted image. Some think it looks like a butterfly, while others swear it is a skull. Most are unsure. Rohr claims to be able to tell your future simply by looking into your eyes, but many believe her to be a charlatan. The trinkets and potions she sells are obvious fakes and few if any of her prophecies have come true, except for one that she doesn't even remember making.
Artemis Phycer - Arty Phycer is a renowned tinkerer and craftsman. He creates and sells everything from simple children's toys to combat enhancing prostheses, with stock changing on an almost weekly basis depending on where his current obsession lies. In particular he loves to be challenged by complex commissions, so if you are looking for something unique, Artemis might be your guy.

Tome Spirit for 5e & PF2E

Tome spirits are often sad beings to come across. Many have spent years untold searching the halls of the libraries and studies they are bound to, seeking answers that likely never come. It's the greatest tragedy a scholar could ever imagine knowing that an answer is out there, but you have no chance to find it while bound to your place of death.
