Gargoyle Cathedral is a Fifth Edition plug-in adventure for four characters with an average party level (APL) of 5, 8, 11, or 14. This free version of the adventure includes the Level 5 variant. 

The characters enter a gothic cathedral to rid it of the pests within. Little do they know that the cathedral is the lair of deadly creatures disguised as statues. And that’s not even the worst thing there—pockets of strong temporal magic pose a great risk to any creature that enters the cathedral, potentially shunting them back into the past.

These monster guides take into account the monster’s statistics, too. So monsters with low Intelligence scores won’t act nearly as savvy as those with high Intelligence scores, and so on.
